The www.voluntariat.ro web page offers handy resources for all the individuals, organisations, institutions or companies interested in volunteering. The site includes sections addressed at volunteers, volunteer managers, volunteer centers, the press and a section with general information on the topic of volunteering.
Organisations can submit volunteer portraits and/or successful volunteer programs and can record volunteering-related events that they organise, thus increasing their publicity and also bringing a contribution to the writing of an online history of volunteering in Romania.
The newest sections of the site are “Resources for the volunteer managers in the field of child protection” and “Database of organisations working with volunteers”.
Further developments of the site will include the restructuring of the “Member’s section” – a section addressed at volunteer centers members of the National Network of Volunteer Centers from Romania and the development of a larger database of organisations that involve volunteers.
