The National Volunteer Week

The National Volunteer Week is an event that is dedicated to the active volunteers in Romania and to all those whom they collaborate with in their activities! The National Volunteer Week is targeted at a variety of groups that can play a part in the development of their community: organisations and institutions that involve volunteers in their activity, companies that whish to get involved in the community’s life through volunteering, active volunteers, volunteer centers, potential volunteers (citizens that wish to get involved in the community’s life but which didn’t yet find the most suitable activity or the right context for that).

The National Volunteer Week is a “tool” for promoting the concept and the practice of volunteering; for increasing the visibility of volunteers in the community; for utilising to its full potential the human potential existent in each community. In 2005, the National Volunteer Week reached its fourth edition in Romania and it is on an ascendant path, both regarding the number of organisations involved in organising the event, and the number of volunteers and clients, sponsors and donors, media partners and media coverage of the event. Pro Vobis first organised this event in 2002, since then supporting each year the volunteer centers and the organisations that wish to get involved in organising events on the occasion of the National Volunteer Week, all across the country. Apart from offering personalised promotional materials (posters, flyers, balloons), Pro Vobis offers information, consultancy, expertise and participation to the events organised for the National Volunteer Week, as well as the coordination of all the actors involved in the celebration of this event, by collecting the data each year and editing the national program and the report of the Week.

Pro Vobis National Volunteer Center invites you to mark on your calendars the week 8-14 may 2006- National Volunteer Week – event that is dedicated to all active volunteers in Romania and all the ones that helps them in their activity.

The best campaign for volunteering in 2005, National Volunteer Week is on its 5th edition!

You are planning for a long time a special event for recognition and public appreciation of volunteers and volunteer work and for reflecting its important contribution to solving the community problems… or just want to announce the entire world how wonderful your volunteers are??? You are now facing a creativity challenge!

Counting on the “exceptional” edition from 2005, reflected also in the event rapport, National Volunteer Week 2006 wants once again: to promote volunteering, the increase of volunteer’s profile in the community, valuing the human potential in each community.

Pro Vobis has initiated this event in Romania in 2002, supporting each year the Volunteering Centers and organizations/institutions that wish to get involved in organizing National Volunteer Week in the whole country.

Besides the personalized promotional materials (flyers, balloons and others), Pro Vobis will stay available for information’s, consultancies, expertise, and will participate to the events organized for the National Volunteer Week.

Also, Pro Vobis will coordinate all involved in celebrating National Volunteer Week trough collecting information and editing the national program and the National Volunteer Week rapport, each year.
